The proper fitting of a pointe shoe is critical to a dancer's physical and emotional well-being. Gaynor Minden feels that pointe shoes are best fit personally by a knowledgeable fitter rather than through a mail catalogue. Because we feel so strongly that it is in the dancer's best interests to be fit in person, we do not allow Gaynor Mindens to be sold through any mail catalogue unless the dancer has been personally fit by that retailer.

We offer a large selection of different shank stiffnesses, vamp heights, and heel heights and we encourage dancers to visit the store(s) nearest them to try the many options available.
