Description (provided by Grand Jeté): The GRAND JETE, established in 1983, is a full-service dancewear store. In addition to the GAYNOR MINDEN pointe shoe we carry a wide variety of other pointe, ballet, tap and jazz shoes, as well as bodywear from many leading suppliers. Our experienced staff is always available to assist you in any of your dancewear needs. Store hours: 10 - 5:30 PM Mon-Sat, 10 - 8:00 PM Tues.

Directions (provided by Grand Jeté): FROM INTERSTATE HWY 94 AND LEXINGTON: Go south on Lexington to Grand and then east on Grand for just 2 blocks. FROM INTERSTATE HWY 35E AND RANDOLPH: Go west on Randolph for one block and then head north on Lexington to Grand. Proceed east on Grand for 2 blocks.

We cannot emphasize strongly enough how important it is that pointe shoes fit correctly. Improperly fitted pointe shoes are not just painful, they can actually damage the feet.

We urge all our customers to take the time to be properly fitted by a trained pointe shoe fitter, one who has experience with Gaynor Minden’s unique construction and fitting requirements. We offer 2,913 different combinations of length, width, box, shank, vamp and heel. There is no reason to accept anything less than a perfect fit.
