Highlights of the business include: 200 CD Listening Center for dance class music, vast selection of shoes and dancewear and dance studio set-up: barres, floors, mirrors and music.

Directions (provided by Alva's Dancewear): From Harbor (110) Freeway South (or from Vincent Thomas Bridge): Exit Gaffey St. Turn left. Go south 9 blocks to 7th St. (traffic light). Turn right. Come up hill (west) 10 blocks approximately to Weymouth Ave. (traffic light). Turn left. Come one block to 8th St. Turn left. We are three-quarters of the way down the block on the right. Look for our vertical neon sign (ALVA'S).
